For the Clubs and Societies’ Felicitation Ceremony 2013 at Royal College Colombo 07, the set design aimed to immerse attendees in a world of elegance and innovation, transforming a stage into a curved arc cave illuminated by celestial, star-like LED lights to create an atmosphere of wonder. The design seamlessly integrated spaces for interactive mime performances, adding whimsy and engagement through their silent narratives and award distribution choreography. Focused on both aesthetic appeal and functional design, this concept not only enhanced the celebratory mood but also facilitated smooth transitions between ceremony segments, ensuring a memorable and engaging experience. This set design stands as a testament to the transformative power of creative vision in celebrating tradition and achievement at one of the most anticipated events in the college’s calendar.
